PS : First of all India is not a poor country. Its poorly administered and ruled country.

Now let me tell you some straight benefits of Swach Bharat Abhiyaan:

1. Foreign Investment

• We can attract more foreign players to invest in India. They will be provided with clean campuses, eco-friendly special economy zones and clean-healthy working environment.
• Multinational companies will come out of Metros and small cities will be developed equally. This scenario will gradually reduce the dis-balance between small and big cities.
• Above two will automatically raise our GDP, FDI and domestic employment opportunities.

2. Tourism

• We will see enormous growth in foreign tourism in our country.
• Tourism industry will rise and will generate employment subsequently. Which will further increase our GDP, employment rate, business opportunities and Foreign currency reserve.
• Tourist will feel better and the message of Clean India will be transmitted throughout the world.

3. Health Benefits

• People will not die of diseases caused by unhygienic living conditions.
• Mortality rate per birth will be reduced.
• Expenditure of millions of dollar on health facilities will be reduced and that money will be used in development of this country.

4. Cost cutting

• In many sectors like (Cleaning, maintenance of slums, sewers etc) cost/investment will be much reduced.
• The money generated after reducing cost on these sectors will be used for development of this country.

5. Happy India - Healthy India

• India will be a healthy and happy country.
• Rising the chart of health index and happiness index will subsequently generate money through better productivity, less expenditure of health maintenance and less expense on curing deadly diseases caused by unclean surroundings and society.

Question like this can be answer to : what makes Indians sad ?

Swachh Bharat mission , the name itself is simple and self explanatory.We all will agree that even some of the most posh localities of India have problems of garbage disposal.Dirty places and heaps of garbage at unwanted places has unfortunately become part of our life.

Don't to u think it is a nice idea to live in a neat and clean surrounding irrespective of cast, sex , political preferences, language , age etc.

As far as India being a poor country is concerned , yes slums from slumdog millionaire do exist.But that does not make us a poor country.Btw India is now 6th biggest economy in the world ,its better than Britain.

Because cleanliness is something everyone needs to take care of (both rich and poor)

Just because a certain section is poor that does not means that they dont deserve a clean surrounding

Cleanliness will reduce diseases and make people healthier and save our money spent on diseases which are easily avoidable

Just because we have a section that is poor that doesnt means we stop investing on their overall well being and just give them free food (Although we need to find a solution to that problem too)

So, in short Swach Bharat Mission will make India cleaner,healthier and save lives :)
